Well, another year has gone by without too much happening. We’re going well.

I’m sure I had something I wanted to post about, but I forget. Oh well.
Anyway, I enjoyed Christmas, got to see most of my extended family. People are coming for lunch at my place here soon, siblings and another. We have a barbeque now so it should be good

I actually did have that job I mentioned in my previous post, and it is good. Hope I manage to keep it… (Or maybe I shouldn’t have said that because I think one of my boss’s might look at my website every now and then :P)

Also, I’m going to be doing Summer School (of my own choice) so I don’t have to do a certain subject later on. And I can do other subjects earlier. And generally mix-and-match my entire degree What fun.

It is now the 26th aniversarry of the TCP/IP protocol, so I hope some of you at least tried the move to IPv6.

And my browser based RPG I’ve been making for a while (don’t know if I mentioned it here though) is taking shape. I’ve even started on the Quest system (I was going to do that a year ago, but did other stuff to it like the PvP system instead) which should be good when finished. Especially since players will be able to make their own quests (although that is mainly to make it so I don’t have to keep coming up with new quests. Again, I’m lazy)

Anyway, I’m sure I had something meaningful to say, but I can’t be bothered remembering. Maybe it’ll come to me later. Hope you enjoyed some fireworks.

Well, started Uni again this week….

I seem to have passed everything (well one class I have to hand something in before Monday, but I will as soon as I find it) which is really good.

Anyway, I want to write more but I really have no idea what, although I am a bit bored. Although so far I have nice tute times and seem to have them with friends, but there are still some changes that may be made…

Oh well, until I remember this again probably…

I have finally finished exams for this semester. This means that I will no longer procrastinate. Which is probably silly, because I could have used more study. Still, I have a decent chance of passing everything, so hopefully everything will be fine.

Although, over the last few years I have noticed something: I spend most of the time in exams looking around the room and thinking things that have little to nothing to do with the subject of my exam (mostly game ideas and how much time I waste in exams) and pretty much everyone else seems to work through them constantly. Maybe if I did that too I would go better in my exams.  That and if I could actually remember what I had studied. A lot of things I had reread only a few hours before my exam, and even wrote down and did example problems, I forgot in the exam. However, one piece of trivia that interested me for a few minutes a couple days ago because I couldn’t remember seeing it before I remembered quite well (I think I passed that question), so I don’t really get these things. Maybe I should try to figure out how my mind works, and then I’d know why I remember some things and not others, and that would improve my studying. Not procrastinating would also improve my studying, but that is too much like effort.

Until I wake up again (sleeping for a week to recover from exams is sounding really good).

Well, I thought I might update this again. I’m about halfway through exams, and have a party to go to around now (isn’t going to help my marks…), I have received my PICAXE, although I haven’t got it talking to the computer yet since I got a usb cable not a serial cable and the driver that is meant to trick the software into thinking that it is connected to the serial port not the usb port isn’t working properly. I’ll fix it up once exams are over, because I won’t have time until then.

There’s other stuff, but I won’t bother posting it on the internet.

Well, it’s a couple weeks into college again, and exams are approaching quite quickly so I’m going to start studying more and playing games, watching anime, and programming less.

Also I ordered in a PICAXE from the uk, since it was cheaper to do it that way then buy it here in Australia. When it comes it will be great. I have a few ideas for it, but wont know for sure until I’ve had it for a while.

Also I think I should say that I have done a few strips (or whatever you call each ‘episode’ in a web comic) for my web comic, but have kept it within my friends for now. I may make a site for it once I’ve got a few more, but it depends on what others think.

Well, it is now the holidays separating term 2 from term 3.

I am writing this more for the sake of posting rather than any real reason.

I have been invited to various parties over the holidays, but I think the only one I will be going to is my brothers, however there is a chance I may be able to get to a party one of my cousin’s is having.

Anyway….

Well, I’m thinking of making a web comic based off my friends’ at college. I’ve began drawing the characters, and I knew that drawing was hard, and I knew from experience that making sprites look right is hard, but I’ve never tried to draw something that is meant to resemble a real person before… it’s even harder!

Well, I’m hoping I’ll be able to make the characters look right, at the moment I’ve drawn the basics of 6 of them (Using Adobe Illustrator), I’m going to have around 10 though… I can just look forward to once I’ve drawn them all it will be easier for me

Anyway, I think I may do a couple ’strips’ of the comic within the next 2 weeks, but it probably won’t be actually public for a month or so (if it ever gets public…), but who cares, it’s mainly for friends

Well, I’m updating this because I don’t really have anything better to do.

I went to the uni open day on Sunday, got heaps of stuff about it. Thinking of doing an engineering degree because it seems to be the best, although a computing one looks fun.

I went on the engineering tour with my sister, and some of the stuff they’re doing there is cool. Someone is doing something for the hydro to try and make it so that the water doesn’t slow down on the way to the powerplant because of the algae that grows on the pipes, other people are modifing quad bikes, skooters and car engines to run off hydrogen, etc.

I also looked at the stalls for other things, like computing, maths & physics, earth sciences, etc.

Yeah, other stuff I’d like to write, but I won’t.

Well, it’s Friday 13th of July 2007. Hopefully it will be a lucky day, as I dont seem to have had many of them lately. Yesterday I was so tired that I fell asleep during Maths.

Currently I’m completing Information Systems work for college, I’m behind and the exam is in a couple of weeks (on Thursday 26th).

Anyway, thats enough for now.
